The PLME Summer Research Assistantship (SRA) offers students the opportunity to conduct full-time research in the social/behavioral sciences, clinical medicine, or biomedical sciences under the mentorship of a Brown faculty member. Awarded on a competitive basis, selected students receive a $3,750 stipend to support 10 weeks of research during the summer. Projects may take place on campus or at a Brown-affiliated hospital. While academic credit is not granted, research may contribute to a thesis or be continued as independent study during the academic year.
