Community Health Advocacy Program
Welcome to CHAP!
The Community Health Advocacy Program (CHAP) works cooperatively with various Providence organizations to promote the physical, mental, and emotional health of individuals and the community as a whole. Composed of student volunteers in PLME, our teams identify relevant health issues and then develop programs to address these issues. CHAP provides the opportunity for communities and future health care professionals to meet the health care needs of areas that are often underserved due to a variety of social, economic, and cultural barriers.
As a member of CHAP, you have the unique ability to create a long-lasting impact on the Providence community and get to know PLME students across class years.
More information on CHAP can be found on their website.
