Our presenter will be Dr. Michael Klein, family medicine physician. Light refreshments will be served from 5:30pm-6:0pm, with the discussion beginning at 6:00pm. Attendance is mandatory for first-year students unless there is an academic conflict, and registration is available to sophomores, juniors and seniors subject to availability. First year students should respond to the Google Calendar invite, upperclassmen can fill out this registration form.
Dr. Klein is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Klein supervises family medicine didactics for medical students, and also serves as a preceptor for medical students and family medicine residents at Brown. Dr. Klein serves as a provider at Compass Medical with a primary office in Easton, Massachusetts and as a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice. Dr. Klein has been recognized both locally and nationally for his teaching, including the Dean's Award for Excellence in Teaching at Brown and the American Academy of Family Physicians/Pfizer Teacher Development Award.
