With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Karyn Horowitz is a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist dedicated to providing thoughtful, evidence-based, and compassionate care for individuals and families. She serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and has previously served as Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Affairs of Bradley Hospital, as well as Director of Outpatient Child Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Services at Brown University Health. Her broad clinical expertise spans outpatient psychiatry, psychotherapy, crisis management, suicide prevention, and psychopharmacology. Beyond her clinical leadership, Dr. Horowitz is passionate about community behavioral health and works to expand mental health access across Rhode Island.
Ms. Jen O’Connor is a foster mom to many and the mother of five adopted girls. Her journey with Dr. Horowitz began when her first three daughters were placed with her. We are so incredibly grateful to have her speak with us.
