For its sixth consecutive year, the Cancer Prevention and Control (CAPAC) Research Training Program (NCI award # 2R25CA240120-06), hosted by the University of Puerto Rico Comprehensive Cancer Center, is looking for highly motivated and talented graduate students or recent graduates interested in pursuing a cancer research career. CAPAC offers a hands-on cancer prevention and control research experience with a focus on Hispanic health and health disparities. The program will be held from May 27 to August 1, 2025, in San Juan, Puerto Rico-USA.
Each year, CAPAC will recruit a total of 25 graduate students/health professional students and recent graduates from all racial/ethnic groups and cultural backgrounds to participate in a 10-week hands-on, full-time research experience in Puerto Rico under the supervision of an assigned research mentor. The program will also provide seminars and workshops for trainees. You will find more information about our program at http://www.cccupr.org/programas/capac-training-program/.
